Today , April 5th, the plan consisted on a sailing trip around the island and the rest of the time was manageable by us students. We went to the beach in the morning and had breakfast at Starbucks. We also had time for shopping Waikiki beach was awesome at 7 am and the sailing trip was even better! It was a gorgeous day and it was hard to resist the water and not jump down from the boat! After the trip we had lunch on a restaurant and then we got a lot of free time, almost four hours. Some of us decided to rent a surf board or take a surf lesson with instructors. I had a two hours lesson and it was so sick, totally worth it! We met again with the group at 8ish and until 10:30 we had free time again to hang out in the streets of Honolulu. Night life in Hawaii is not less than exciting than day time!!! Not a bad day at all :))

Friday April 3rd.

After a good nights sleep (and a little bit of jet lag), we all got up and got ready for a new exciting day with breakfast, free time, hiking and some beach time. We got to meet and introduce each other a little bit better this morning at out little conference. It's safe to say, that in our group there're never really a dull or quiet moment and it is so nice to get to know everybody!

We took a bus together to go hiking at Diamond Head. after a delicious breakfast a couple of blocks away from the hotel. The hike was amazing. Standing at the top with one of the best views I've ever seen is unbelievable. Looking around at everybody who's taking in the view, smiling for pictures and having fun is what makes these experiences so much fun. Many different flags was flying in the air for pictures, many memories are kept in those pictures. Pictures we can look back at years from now. It was very hot and pretty much all of us were sweating a lot. But it was totally worth it! The beach was amazing also. We played soccer, volleyball and frisbee at Waykiki beach. We ate dinner and swam also, it was amazing. Hawaii really is like paradise on earth and you realize that only after spending one day here. I think, I speak for the rest of us, when I say, that the next couples of days are going to be amazing also!=
Today, April 4th,was one of the most Hawaiian experiences on the schedule SURFING, it wasn't just invented here no it's also the image of the island state. But before that we first had a really exciting morning. With an Starbucks gift card and  over an hour time we took our breakfast by ourself and could experience like that an morning in Honolulu. This was really yummy and funny. The next big activity was snorkeling at Hanauma bay. That was just amazing and I was like everyone else was really excited. After some instructions we were ready to go in a totally different world of the reef, colorful fishes, sea turtles, and a lot of fun. It was really cool to see those animals so close in the wild, it's different than seeing them in the aquarium. Then we had to leave that place for our surf lesson and first instructions about techniques and safety-always keep the eyes on the ocean! Surfing was really amazing but you have to be passionated and fit. I caught some good waves... It's like flying. Since surfing is physically hard the Hamburgers afterwards were the right thing. After a short time in Honolulu's night live it was sleeping time. Here is a advice for the reader: SURFING IS LIFE  πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„ David from Germany=

Day 1 - Travelling to Hawaii

Aloha Hawaii !!! After a long day spent in planes, we finally made it to Honolulu. Some of us spent the day in the famous beach of Waikiki, pretty amazing first impression, while waiting for the rest of the group's arrivals. We all started this adventure tired, but most certainly excited, pumped up and happy ! It's 80 degrees and higher over here, which means the PERFECT week to surf, snorkel, hike, sail and plenty of other awesome stuff !
